The Greek gods would be pleased! The Hellenic Times Scholarship Fund (HTSF) held its annual awards gala at the Marriott Marquis, supporting scholarships for Greek students in the U.S. To date, the HTSF has given gifts to over 400 young Greek Americans, totaling more than $1 mil.

Chairs Margo and John Catsimatidis and HTSF president Nick Katsoris pulled out all the stops to make this an event to remember, honoring Nicholas Bouras with the Humanitarian Leadership Award and American Idol Constantine Maroulis with the Humanitarian Artistic Achievement Award.

The fun continued with guest performers Taylor Dayne and Thanos Petrelis. Scholarship presenters Ernie Anastos, Alexis Christoforous, Nick Gregory, and Hon. Nicholas Tsoucalas then took to the stage, along with celeb presenters Pete Sampras, Nia Vardalos, Melina Kanakaredes, and Betty White.

Following the awards, the dancing broke out and balloons came tumbling down from the ceiling. The potpourri of noisemakers and glittering glasses made this fete reminiscent of a New Year's Eve celebration!
