The Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation hosted its annual star-studded gala, A Magical Evening, at Cipriani Wall Street. Longtime supporters Alec Baldwin and Meryl Streep served as the evening?s special guests, along with actor Mark Ruffalo and Christopher Reeve's children Matthew, Alexandra, and Will.

Peter Kiernan (chief executive of Kiernan Ventures) was honored with the Dana Reeve HOPE Award. World Golf Hall-of-Famer Karrie Webb (a Reeve Foundation ambassador) was granted the Christopher Reeve Spirit of Courage Award. As Christopher Reeve once said, "It comes down to us. We have the power to make an enormous difference." The evening was a celebration of family, accomplishment, and possibility, raising critical funds needed for the most groundbreaking spinal cord injury research in the world.
