It was an afternoon of science and opti- mism at the Hope for Depression Research Foundation's New York Hope Luncheon Seminar, held at 583 Park Avenue. Event co-chairs included Samantha Boardman, Jackie Drake, Dailey Pattee, Kim Heirston, Lisa Waterman, Coralie Charriol Paul, and Patrick McMullan.

After Deborah Norville led the opening remarks, founder and chair Audrey Gruss gave the Hope Award for Depression Advocacy to Callie Thorne, star of USA Network's Necessary Roughness.
