Hamptonites put on their best sunhats and divot-stomping shoes for the opening day of the 16th anniversary season of the Bridgehampton Polo Club. The Hamptons’ haut monde joined international polo star and Ralph Lauren model Nacho Figueras at Two Trees Farm for the summer’s premier social event.

Who can keep their eyes on the horses when surrounded by the luxury of a pre-match reception replete with summery cocktails and scintillating conversation? Once the mallets started swinging, guests flitted from field-side tailgate tents to glamorous garden areas.

Town and Country and Ferrari North America sponsored the opening-day match and festivities, alongside season sponsors Davidoff, SmartWater, Zen Air, and Piaget. Spectators and schmoozers alike enjoyed unparalleled luxe entertainment against the backdrop of high-energy polo action.

The sumptuous sporting event lasted for six consecutive Saturdays until the end of the season in late August.
