An all-American barbecue was held at Andre Balazs’s Sunset Beach Hotel for the annual ACRIA Benefit (supporting AIDS research and treatment initiatives) on Shelter Island. The event, appropriately titled Dance at Sunset, was sponsored by Banana Republic, Vanity Fair, the Diller von Furstenberg Family Foundation, and the William Beaver House.

Partygoers sipped bubbly while being treated to a special performance by Blondie’s Deborah Harry and Brokeback Mountain vocalist Mary McBride.
