Camille and Kelsey Grammer

Camille and Kelsey Grammer hosted this year’s Bay Street Summer Gala Benefit Bash at Harding Farm in Bridgehampton, celebrating Bay Street Theatre’s 15th season of professional performances.

The evening danced on with the dinner tent providing the perfect social setting, which included a live and silent auction offering tempting treats like brunch with Alec Baldwin at Estia’s Little Kitchen, two premium tickets to Barbra Streisand’s concert at Madison Square Garden, a walk-on role in FX’s Rescue Me (starring Denis Leary), a treasure chest of Truman Capote memorabilia, and other great gets.

We asked Camille how she and Kelsey stay in such good shape: “We live in Bridgehampton all summer, and we bike and play tennis a lot.” She looked fetching in her sexy stiletto heals—we were awed by her courage to wear them in all the grass one has to walk through at these parties, but she assured us, “I’m used to it. I kind of walk on my toes.” We caught up with her hubby, Kelsey, and chatted him up on the Christie Brinkley/Peter Cook scandal. He was diplomatic when asked whether he thought Christie might go back with Cook and how she could get past the humiliation factor: “Many have survived humiliation.” And he should know—having dealt with his own past scandals and humiliations!
