David Duchovny and Téa Leoni

It was another searing New York night, as stars turned out for the premiere of Trust the Man, presented by Calvin Klein and the New York Observer, with an after-party at hotspot Home. The flick featured the romantic escapades of two couples: a successful actress (Julianne Moore) and her stay-at-home cheating hubby (David Duchovny); and her slacker baby brother (Billy Crudup) and his aspiring-novelist looking-for-love girlfriend (Maggie Gyllenhaal), along with his sexy side dish (Eva Mendes).

Since the movie’s theme was about trusting your partner—and because of all the cheating going on in the headlines—we asked the gorgeous married mother of two, Julianne Moore, if she thinks a woman can still trust a man nowadays. The radiant redhead gave an optimistic confession: “You know, I do. I certainly can trust the man I married!”

David Duchovny and Téa Leoni were in the mix (decked out in Burberry) and puckered up for the shutterbugs before strolling down the red carpet. We asked the talented duo how they keep their marriage fresh and exciting after being together for so long and having kids. David’s reply: “I just really like her—we’ve got a good thing!”

Co-star Bill Crudup hit the carpet sans main squeeze Claire Danes (whom he hooked up with after a very public split from former gal pal Mary-Louise Parker, eight months pregnant at the time), and instead the heartthrob brought along his mother, Georgianne.

In the mix: Bart Freundlich, Peter Sarsgaard, James LeGros, Alexis Bryan, Justin Bartha, Maggie Betts, Tony Lipp, Libby Johnson, Lauryn Flynn, Bonnie Morrison, Leslie Klotz, and Malcolm Carfrae.
