Lady Micheline Connery and Sir Sean Connery

Plaid was the new black when Donald Trump, Tatum O'Neal, and Bebe Neuwirth stepped out for the Friends of Scotland's Dressed to Kilt event, promoting modern Scottish interests in America.
Screen icon Sir Sean Connery was joined by the first minister of Scotland, the Right Honorable Jack McConnell, to host the evening, which was held at the Synod House in the beautiful St. John Divine Cathedral Garden.
Featuring cocktails, live music, and a fashion show, Dr. Geoffrey Scott Carroll chaired the New York event, which was followed up with an L.A. showcase. Designer Vivienne Westwood was the night's honoree for her achievements in Tartan and Scottish fashion, as celebrities and notables strutted the catwalk attired in chic duds.
Saluting Scotland: Antony Todd, Gary Van Dis, Fabian Basabe, Alexis Fenton, Eric Villency, Euan Reille, Ashley Cooper, and Ann Curry.
Sweet tartan!
