Even though running NYC is no song and dance, Mayor Michael Bloomberg traded his suit and tie for Broadway glitz and glamour at this year's Inner Circle Charity Show. The two-act musical, directed by Shelly Strickler, was presented at the New York Hilton and featured journalists from City Hall's "Inner Circle" roasting the government and its officials.

The menu even drew laughs with comical cuisine: the likes of "Mark Green's Salad" (tossed three times), "Cheney's Duck," "Toussaint's Croissants," and to wash it all down, "Eliot's Spritzer!"

The performing politico Bloomberg wowed guests with a sidesplitting rendition from the Great White Way's current hit, Spamalot, alternately titled "Spendalot," whose Monty Python-like character King Mike the Monarch poked fun at the mayor's $80-mill-plus campaign. Bloomberg was even joined onstage by Spamalot star and Frasier alum David Hyde Pierce.

Some far cry from Gracie Mansion!
