A-listers mixed and mingled over cocktails, dinner, and a silent auction-featuring luxurious vacation packages and artwork-at the Boys' Towns of Italy's "Ball of the Year" at The Pierre.

Celebrating over six decades of making a difference, the organization operates on an international level to aid impoverished children and orphans of war in their quest to become capable citizens.

Awards of achievement: Time Inc. executive Robin Domeniconi was named "Woman of the Year," restaurateurs Vittorio Assaf and Fabio Granato were touted "Men of the Year," media notable Dr. Rock Positano was bestowed the "Humanitarian Award," and bandleader Peter Duchin was designated "Musical Ambassador."
