More than 1,000 deftly designed, unique objects were on display at the opening-night gala preview of SOFA New York, the International Exposition of Sculpture Objects and Functional Art, at the Seventh Regiment Armory. Guests enjoyed an exclusive private viewing of the extraordinary selection, benefiting the Museum of Arts & Design, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary.

The works were created by some of the world's most celebrated contemporary artists, represented by 50 international galleries and dealers.

The "A Taste of New York" theme featured delicious treats from NY's finest restaurants, tickling the taste buds of attendees Barbara Tober (chairwoman of the Museum of Arts & Design), Donna Schneier, Eric Dobkin, Holly Hotchner, Mimi Livingston, Ann Kaplan, Brad Cloepfil, and Stephanie French.
