Mayor Bloomberg and the Mayor's Fund to Advance NYC kicked off the 2010 Fete de Swifty along with its founder, Liz Smith. Honorary chairs at this oh-so-social event included Mariska Hargitay, Mary J. Blige, John Starks, and Tim Gunn. Guests included Robert Caravaggi, David Patrick Columbia, Deborah Krulewitch, Peter Rogers, Police Commish Ray Kelly, and Commish Yolanda Jimenez.

One of the evening's most exciting activities was the online auction, during which guests bid on lavish goodies like New York sports event packages and exclusive fashion items. Proceeds benefited the NYC Housing Authority's Early Childhood Programs, which provide low-income children with learning opportunities and early care.
