Always one of the highlights of the summer season, The Retreat’s annual art auction was the most successful to date, with beautifully showcased art raising over $250,000 to help those who suffer from domestic violence. Artists from all over the country donated original work which was auctioned off by host Kelsey Grammer, who also got two bidders to raise $25,000 for a walk-on part on one of his shows. Organizers Maria McBride and Russell Kolody created the artsy evening, and DJ extraordinaire Ray Jarrell kept the tunes spinning all evening.
