The Guild Hall Summer gala included a special preview of The Art of Fashion in the Hamptons exhibition, featuring Vera Wang, Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, Reed Krakoff, Tory Burch, Nicole Miller, Elie Tahari, Donna Karan, and Betsey Johnson. The exhibition uses both art and fashion to depict how for decades the Hamptons have attracted and nurtured artists, designers, and society mavens, as well as ordinary folks. While some come seeking inspiration from the light, and others are rejuvenated by the social life, the magical lure of the East End endures. Pamela Fiori and Stan Herman excelled as guest curators while movers and shakers bid on remarkable works by notable fashion photogs and took in the latest styles.
