Literacy Partners held its annual Evening of Readings pre-Gala kick-off event at Michael’s. The evening, hosted by Liz Smith, brought together some of New York’s most prominent society members along with those from the world of entertainment, publishing, fashion, and media. This year’s honorees for the gala on May 10 will include Barbara Taylor Bradford and Robert Bradford. Over the last 35 years, Literacy Partners has helped thousands of New Yorkers learn the basic reading, writing and math skills needed in day-to-day living.
