| With his iconic blue jacket and ever-present bicycle, photojournalist Bill Cunningham is not only a fashion- event fixture but a New York legend. Chairs Annette and Oscar de la Renta, Sarah Jessica Parker, and guests Jean Shafiroff, Andrew Tisch, Muffie Potter Aston, Mercedes Bass, among others, celebrated his life and work, and bestowed upon him the Carnegie Hall Medal of Excellence at the Waldorf.

while bringing invaluable exposure to
many remarkable philanthropic organizations and causes. Cunningham runs two weekly New York Times columns that celebrate the vibrant landscape of NYC life. "Evening Hours" and "On the Street" have long served as staples in the venerable paper's fashion and style sections.
