Mitch and Janis Winehouse celebrated the life and legacy of their daughter Amy at the Amy Winehouse Foundation’s Inspiration Awards & Gala, held at the Waldorf.

The evening paid tribute to the transformative power of song and music, with awards given to maestros Tony Bennett, Nas, and Salaam Remi. The charming and svelte chanteuse Jennifer Hudson brought down the house with a powerful performance for spellbound guests who included Wyclef Jean and philanthropist Loreen Arbus.

The benefit supported the philanthropic mission of the late Amy Winehouse and the foundation’s efforts to help children in need through music therapy and education.
