Black-tie has never been so colorful than at the Breast Cancer Research Foundation’s Hot Pink Party at the Waldorf, which raised a whopping $5.2 mil.

This year’s theme, Viva Fiesta, attracted the brightest and boldest of NYC, including MC Elizabeth Hurley and the evening’s star performer, Sir Elton John. Kate Hudson presented the Sandra Taub Humanitarian Award to Kay Krill, president and CEO of Ann Inc. Judith Schlager was honored with the Roz and Les Goldstein Unsung Hero Award, presented by Sandra Krakoff.

Other guests at the fl amboyant fete included acting chairman Leonard Lauder, Michael Kors, Donna Karan, William Lauder, Laura and Gary Lauder, Jo Carole and Ronald Lauder, Aerin Lauder Zinterhofer, Vera Wang, Lizzie and Jonathan Tisch, Marjorie Reed Gordon, and Cynthia and Dan Lufkin. The late, beloved Evelyn Lauder was sorely missed at this year’s gala for the foundation she poured her heart into after founding it in 1993.
