Kathie Lee Gifford, Page Morton Black

A royal social roundtable turned out for the annual Bal du Printemps at the Pierre, to benefit the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation.

Morley Safer of 60 Minutes hosted, and John and Margo Catsimatidis co-chaired. Guests including Kathy Lee Gifford (whose late father suffered from Parkinson’s) and hubby Frank danced to the fabulous tunes of the Barry Levitt Orchestra throughout the evening. Meanwhile, former Gov. Hugh Carey wowed the crowd with his rendition of “New York, New York,” while Kitty Carlisle Hart belted out a few tunes of her own. Page Morton Black, the chairman of the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation, thanked the crowd (as she does each year) by singing Ed Tone’s “A Little Bit of Giving.” Page is the famous widow of William Black (who founded Chock Full o’ Nuts in 1957) and is still remembered for popularizing the—o’ so catchy—Chock Full o’ Nuts jingle.

Thank you, Page!
