The Child Mind Institute honored Jane and Jimmy Buffett at its Child Advocacy Dinner at Cipriani 42nd Street, hosted by Matt Lauer. Nobel laureate Dr. Eric Kandel received the 2012 Child Mind Institute Distin- guished Scientist Award. Dinner chairs and guests included Elizabeth and Michael Fascitelli, Chuck Close, Jane Rosenthal, Molly Jong-Fast, Ron Perelman, Anne Keating, Richard Gere and Carey Lowell, Erica Jong, Kyle MacLachlan and Desiree Gruber, Claude Wasserstein Brooke Garber Neidich, and Frederic Fekkai and Shirin von Wulffen.
