Grammy-nominated songwriter Denise Rich, alongside daughters Daniella Rich Kilstock and Ilona Rich Schachter, hosted Gabrielle?s Angel Foundation for Cancer Research's annual Angel Ball at Cipriani Wall Street. The gala honored supermodel Naomi Campbell, artist Romero Britto, Capital Group founder Vladislav Doronin, and Dr. Khalid bin Jabor Al-Thani, founder of the Qatar National Cancer Society. The foundation was created in memory of Rich's daughter, Gabrielle Rich Aouad, who passed away at the age of 27 after a long and valiant struggle with acute myelogenous leukemia. Entertainment Tonight's Samantha Harris returned as host of the gala, which featured live performances by R&B legend Patti LaBelle, Nile Rodgers & CHIC, and The Voice's Javier Colon. Bold names included Natalie Cole, Kim Kardashian, Clive Davis, Ivana Trump, Jermaine Jackson, Russell Simmons, Star Jones, Tommy Hilfiger, Lorraine Bracco, Marty Richards, Princess Madeleine, Angel Ambassadors Estelle and Ethan Zohn, and gala jewelry sponsor Lorraine Schwartz. The gala raised a whopping $3.3 mil for a great cause!
