Loida Lewis, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs
with his Reginald F. Lewis Award

The Reginald F. Lewis Estate was electric with excitement as Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs was honored with the very first Reginald F. Lewis award on a beautiful Sunday afternoon event held at the beachfront estate of Lewis’ widow, Loida. It was held to benefit the Lewis Museum of Maryland African American History and Culture. Upon accepting the award from Lewis’ widow Loida, the evening’s host, Diddy’s eyes glistened with emotion as he offered a heartfelt speech of appreciation. Philanthropists Frank and Lolita Savage were also honored at the event, and were inducted into the museum’s Millennium Circle.

In the mix: Russell Simmons, Nicole Murphy, B. Smith and Dan Gasby, Sam Champion, NY Giants’ Michael Strahan, NY Knicks’ Charles Oakley, and O’Neal McKnight. Along with their awards, Frank Savage was presented with a surprise birthday cake and ‘Diddy’ with an exclusive Maybach wine. The event raised an impressive $1 mil for the Museum.
