The Hamptons kickoff for this year’s So Near & Yet So Far Alzheimer’s Association Rita Hayworth Gala has set the bar for the highly anticipated event which takes place in NYC on October 27th.

Friends and supporters got together at Anne Hearst’s magnificent estate in Water Mill to join Princess Yasmin Aga Khan, who established the Gala in memory of her mom/actress Rita Hayworth, in preparatory celebration for the fall event, which has raised more than $50 mil over the past 24 years. Alexandra Lebenthal will chair the Gala honoring John and Margo Catsimatidis, Muffie Potter Aston, and Lonnie Wollin, Esq.­—and as the kickoff festivities proved, the upcoming merriment will be a night of fun and glamour.
