The Orchid Ball blossomed as the Child Development Center of the Hamptons (helping children with special needs) honored Melissa Cohn, Jane McEvoy, Bobby Campbell, Maria Pashby and David Manning, Erin and Craig Reicher, Frank Filipo, and Paul Hawkins.

Despite the bad weather and periodic electric outages, star power still managed to shine. Hosting the festivities was comedienne Judy Gold (star of the off-broadway show 25 Questions for a Jewish Mother) and chairing the benefit was Erin Boisson Aries, Judi Boisson, and Debra LaChance.
