 “GMA’s” Sam Champion, down in Miami last weekend for the YoungArts performance at the Gusman Theater (honoring Robert Redford), was asked by Hampton Sheet magazine how he feels about being ribbed by “The Soup” and host Joel McHale: “It really doesn’t bother me at all,” Sam responded. “We just want to make ‘GMA’ number one in the ratings, and if I can help at all, I’m happy to do so. Like the saying goes, ‘It’s better to be talked about than not.’”
