The Waldorf was filled with memories of Evelyn Lauder as nearly 1,200 guests attended the Breast Cancer Research Foundation's Hot Pink Party, honoring Evelyn, BCRF's late founder. The event, hosted by Elizabeth Hurley, featured a live performance by Sir Elton John and commemorated Lauder for her dedication to breast cancer research and activism. Her longtime friend Margaret Stewart was awarded the Roz and Les Goldstein Unsung Hero Award.
Hot Pink Party co-chairs and guests included Marjorie Reed Gordon, Donna Karan, Michael Kors, Delphine and Reed Krakoff, Laura and Gary Lauder, Leonard A. Lauder, Jane Lauder, Jo Carole and Ronald S. Lauder, William P. Lauder, Cynthia and Dan Lufkin, Jeanne and Herbert Siegel, Lizzie and Jonathan Tisch, Vera Wang, and Aerin Lauder Zinterhofer.
Evelyn Lauder was an amazing woman and is truly missed by so many who knew her and continue her wonderful work.
