New Yorkers for Children hosted its annual Spring Dinner Dance, New Year’s in April: A Fool’s Féte, to benefit NYC youth in foster care. Soigne K., the new, hot Madison Avenue boutique featuring finds by rare Indian designers, presented the event. The India-themed evening featured décor exclusively designed by David Stark, as well as a lavish dinner, dancing, and a thrilling silent auction. The evening, which raised crucial funds for the cause, was anything but foolish.
Additional sponsors included Bulgari, Chloé, Dior Beauty, Frédéric Fekkai, Gucci, La Perla, Lanvin, MAC, and Saks Fifth Avenue. Notable attendees included Alina Cho, Dayssi Olarte de Kanavos, Padma Lakshmi, Kerry Washington, Rachel Roy, Serena Williams, Zac Posen, Olivia Chantecaille, Shirin von Wulffen and Frédéric Fekkai, Amy Fine Collins, Mary Alice Stephenson, Rajiv and Soigné Kothari, Byrdie Bell, Maggie Rizer, Tinsley Mortimer, John Demsey, Veronica Webb, Amy Sacco, and Carson Kressley.
