Carnegie Hall kicked off its year-long 120th birthday celebration with a sold-out, one-night-only concert hosted by legendary singer and songwriter James Taylor and chaired by Clarissa and Edgar Bronfman Jr. Over 600 guests enjoyed a preconcert reception in the historic Rohatyn Room, followed by an after-party dinner at the Museum of Modern Art.
The gala was a huge success, raising over $2.8 mil as it celebrated the variety of music that this landmark has exposed to so many over the years. Happy birthday, Carnegie Hall—and we hope to keep hearing the music for another 120 years!
