The Irish Art Center’s annual gala held at the New York Athletic Club was hosted by Emerald Isle notables like actor Gabriel Byrne and screenwriter Terry George. A celeb auction featured signed personal items from the likes of Al Pacino, Liam Neeson, Aidan Quinn, Ed Burns, Christy Turlington, Jerry Orbach, and Chris Noth. And the grand prize was a golf-weekend getaway to one of Ireland’s best courses. The event raised lots of greenbacks to aid World Trade Center victims’ families. The Irish Arts Center supports the many facets of Irish culture, and lots of smiling Irish eyes shone in the crowd!
