Elizabeth Hurley, Evelyn Lauder

The annual Hot Pink Party benefit for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF), founded by Evelyn Lauder, was a cheerful and fun-filled evening at The Waldorf. Over 750 guests raised an astounding $3.7 mil to benefit the foundation dedicated to funding innovative research worldwide. After emcee Elizabeth Hurley auctioned off a Swarovski encrusted BlackBerry designed by Vera Wang, the festivities continued when Sir Elton John introduced his dear friend Liza Minnelli, who put on a lively show and even stopped midway through her performance to help raise more dough for the cause. Hurley, who lost her grandmother to the disease, expressed her hope and enthusiasm for finding a cure for breast cancer in our lifetime. Guests included Marilu Henner, Lizzie and Jonathan Tisch, Jane Krakowski, Bobbi Brown, Tommy Hilfiger, Michael Kors, Donna Karan, and Miss USA Kristen Dalton.
