H.S.H Prince Albert II of Monaco and Charlene Wittstock
 

The Princess Grace Awards Gala, held at Cipriani 42nd Street, presented honors to emerging artists in theater, dance, and film. For her outstanding contribution to the arts throughout her 35-year career in film and theater, Glenn Close took home the Prince Rainier III Award, named for PGF-USA’s founder and presented by her Damages co-star Ted Danson. The event, which raised more than $400,000, was emceed by Tony Award winner Jim Dale and took place in the presence of H.S.H Prince Albert II of Monaco. Also in attendance were Bebe Neuwirth, Tommy Hilfiger, Christopher Walken, Mariska Hargitay, Prince Reza Pahlavi, Placido Domingo, and Bravo’s Tabatha Coffey. Named for Princess Grace Kelly, the award surely made Close feel like a princess, if only for a night.
